Are you going to cool and heat with your ventilation system in addition to ventilating? Then ThermalShield is the air distribution system to use. The insulated air ducts distribute the cooled or heated air throughout the home, without energy loss. This way, every room gets a pleasant temperature with healthy, fresh air.

It is extremely hygienic, but also reduces the air resistance within the ventilation pipe, allowing the installed comfort ventilation unit to be operated at a low speed. This reduces noise to an absolute minimum and energy consumption is reduced at the same time.

Good news! Insulating pipes on site is a thing of the past. The ThermalShield components are supplied ready-to-assemble. Zehnder already insulated the air ducts for you. The result? Less work and therefore faster delivery.

Assembling insulated air ducts

This is easy. Because ThermalShield consists of separate, insulated pipes and components that fit together seamlessly. Mix & match and create a perfectly fitting and airtight air distribution system. With an o-ring, you effortlessly slide one component into another. The insulation is not glued. This keeps the insulated air ducts flexible.

Zehnder ComfoWell Therm pre-insulated modular system

Zehnder ComfoWell Therm is a pre-insulated, modular system system consisting of a sound attenuator, two connection modules, a bridge module, a connection plate and an end plate. The pre-insulated system has compact dimensions, and thermal insulation properties and is also easy to clean. Connection modules and connection plates not only have efficient internal insulation, but also have insulated spigots for connection to the to the insulated Zehnder ComfoTube Therm 90 ventilation duct. The maximum air volume with nominal ventilation is 320 m³/h. All components can be easily connected with fixing strips, which guarantees quick and safe installation.
